Monday's Here Like The Sun

Many other MP3 blogs deserve formal recognition before mine (for starters, all the ones in the sidebar) but life, death, and how the media covers each are rarely fair. With or without that in mind, please direct your short attention spans to Dawn Eden of the NY Daily News who flashes her pocket-spotlight on the punk rock messembled here on Krucoff.com for her Blog On! column in yesterday's paper. I don't think I'm "one of the first" to travel around the world in a hot air MP3 balloon dropping digitized versions of vinyl-only releases, but I'm flattered all the same. One small mistake in the piece, the quote about Jack White should have been attributed to Fluxblog and not Vinyl Mine. All square? More than a circle jerk.

So feeling a little pressure to step it up today, here's a short video of my nephew playing in the Bronx with the Groovie Ghoulies providing the backdrop. Nothing interesting happens except when my sister pushes him to the ground at the end. Enjoy.
