December 19, 2003 #Friday Filcher - From Top of the Pops to Drawing the DoleAs promised on
Monday, here are some people you might find hanging out in the frozen food aisle at Avenue A's Key Food.
Fruit.
Skim milk.
Cheese.
Inside sources tell me (and when I say "inside" you can bet your crotchless thong I'm getting all mitochondria and shit) that the
Surface Hotel being built on Rivington Street will NOT have a pool or a rooftop bar. Seriously, what's the point then? Despite the lack of crucial amenities, fellow Lower East Siders Julie Deeks and Jenny Perlman are quick to add, "No matter, we are so spending a night there whenever it opens."
In the spirit of the holiday season (and even though your service was totally butt) I'm gonna leave all Krucoff.com readers a generous 30% tip.
Redeem here.
Sister-in-law Update: "Aaron and Anna are not to be seated on the washer/dryer in the utility closet while you swing the door back and forth furiously to play the game
WINDSTORM!"
Overheard at
The Magician, a bar begging to be re-named "Plan B":
"So was it a one-night kinda deal?"
"Hey, I'm no Marc Johnson."
