Vote Senator Flux. When
Gray Matter disbanded (the first time) they became
Three with the replacement of Minor Threat's Jeff Nelson on drums. They took their DC melodicore sound into a more polished, poppy direction and recorded one album,
Dark Days Coming. It's a classic, pick it up. After that, vocalist/songwriter Geoff Turner went on to
Senator Flux which delved into straight-up pop with strings, horns, etc. I would follow his voice if he recorded polka songs. Here are tracks from each of these bands.
Gray Matter - "Chutes And Ladders" (2.23 MB)
Three - "Swann Street" (4.94 MB)
Senator Flux - "Grey Eyed Athena" (2.56 MB)
