 As they say: it's on. I've had this debate with Henry The Intern on which is the best Mountain Goats song from the "Going To..." series. It's one of those puzzlers like picking your favorite line from Dazed and Confused (though I have to go with "It'd be a lot cooler if you did" on that one). Henry is partial to Georgia and I voted for Bristol. I have sentimental shrugs for Queens and Maryland as well. But I might have to concede this parlor game as even Lindsay told me some of the all-time best lyrics are delivered in "Going to Georgia" when John Darnielle declares, "The most remarkable thing about you standing in the doorway is that it's you, and that you are standing in the doorway."
