My brother sent this picture which I'd never seen before today. That's my dad on the right with his childhood friend George Harris (wearing a raccoon jacket that "lived" in my dad's closet) who pretty much lived the
Diner life when they ran with a crew from Baltimore's
Poly and Forest Park High schools in the 50's. My sister and I (left to right) sneak into the photo from 1973.
Jim Croce songs, especially Bad Bad Leroy Brown which reached
#1 in 1973, remind me of my dad who always played his hits while working in the garage when I was growing up.
